The unique music of the city echoed in the International Online Music Festival, which was held online due to the Covid-19 pandemic and held on 16-17-18 June. The festival was broadcasted on the Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality YouTube page and met with the listeners.

Mayor of Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Zeynel Abidin BEYAZGÜL made a statement about the festival; "We are organising a magnificent, authentic festival with the partnership of UNESCO creative cities members and candidates. We will celebrate Music together for three days. Each city will present its rich and unique music with different cultural backgrounds. We wish you a wonderful time with music and creativity."

Şanlıurfa and Kırşehir from Turkey, Lliria from Spain, Bogota and Ibaue from Colombia, Baku from Azerbaijan and Essaouira from Morocco participated in the Online Music Festival.
