The Vali Kemalettin Gazezoğlu Culture and Art Center became the stage for a captivating evening where the deep-rooted spirit of Anatolian folk music met the creative energy of jazz. Renowned vocalist Ayda Kırcı, together with a talented ensemble of German jazz musicians, reinterpreted the works of legendary Turkish artists such as Aşık Veysel, Neşet Ertaş, Mahzuni Şerif, and Zülfü Livaneli. Their performance beautifully blended emotion and artistry, earning warm applause from the audience.

Following the concert, Deputy Mayor Sait Ağan emphasized the significance of such events in strengthening Şanlıurfa’s position as a global cultural hub. “As a UNESCO City of Music, we are proud to host artistic collaborations that connect traditions, inspire creativity, and share the universal language of music with the world,” he said.

With its vibrant musical heritage and inclusive vision, Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality continues to promote cultural diversity and international exchange through events that celebrate both local identity and global harmony.
