From the Rural Area to the Fine Arts High School: Nisa’s Inspiring Journey with the Violin.

In the rural Yaslıca neighborhood of Bozova district, 14-year-old Nisa Karaçizmeli has become a symbol of determination and talent, turning her modest beginnings into an inspiring success story. Supported by her father, Nisa first picked up the violin at an early age. Without any formal training, her passion and persistence quickly became evident, ultimately opening the door to new opportunities.
Her remarkable story reached the attention of Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Mayor Mehmet Kasım Gülpınar, who ensured that she was enrolled in the municipality’s conservatory courses. After only four months of technical training, Nisa passed the competitive entrance exam and secured her place at the Fine Arts High School.
Mayor Gülpınar, who visited the conservatory to personally observe Nisa’s progress, praised her dedication: “Although she travels a considerable distance to attend, Nisa demonstrates extraordinary perseverance. Guided by our dedicated instructors, she has already achieved remarkable success. I am confident that her path will continue to shine bright, and I extend my gratitude to everyone who contributed to this achievement.”
Reflecting on her journey, Nisa expressed her gratitude to the municipality and her teachers, highlighting that her father had once dreamed of attending such courses but could not. “I came instead of him,” she said, adding that her lifelong passion for music had now led her to achieve a milestone both for herself and her family.
For her father, Ramazan Karaçizmeli, the moment carries a special meaning:
“The dream I could not achieve has now been realized by my daughter. Her success is an indescribable source of pride for us.”
Now recognized as a promising young talent, Nisa aspires to become a music teacher, with the hope of inspiring and guiding children who, like her, may not have easy access to opportunities.
